structureless community organism

The paramecium model of community organism quickly gives way to anarchy. Like farmers forced to be nomads, they are not able to adopt to a constantly changing order. There is no continuity of place -- only continuity of role and function. Anarchy gives way to fighting. Fighting leads to death. Death makes space and space erases structure. Is this the only path? Is structurelessness a prelude to purposelessness? The answer is no. All community organisms exhibit purposelessness. Structure and purpose are unrelated.
